Sorry for the lack of updates. We’ve been a little tied up. Updates from the week coming very soon.

Time moves way too fast. Last year we completely missed the holidays because of crazy deadlines and this year seems like it may be even more packed with shoots and other projects. Too make sure we don’t miss Christmas again, we decided to get a tree and decorate the studio with a few friends. Good times.

I mentioned earlier in my post with Flynn Adam that L.A. Symphony was one of my first photo shoots ever. I thought it would be great to have John sign the demo disc I got from his former label back in 99.

Apparently, this disc was never put into production and no one in the group ever got to see the actual disc.
Thanks John. 10 years later and my disc is finally signed.

A bottle of Johnnie Walker Black and handle of Captain Morgan later… the tree was standing and we all were falling over. All in all it was a great night. Wish we had more time to plan a real Holiday party, but I think we may have to save that for New Years.

Great job EP!!!

For the last couple months we’ve been involved in an exciting project with Dpd of SleepyTakeover and comedian Danny Cho. I can’t tell you too much about the project, but I can tell you that filming starts next week and it takes place in K-town. If you see us filming in the area, stop by and say Hi.
It’s been great working with the cast and crew. Pre-production is getting tightened up and we are getting anxious to start shooting.

Jon and I paid Patrick (MT/OP) a visit today to finalize the upcoming MT Video Project. Flynn Adam of Rootbeer was nice enough to lend a hand and supply the soundtrack off his solo album “500,000 Boomin’ Watts.” You’re going to have to wait and see which song we chose. We are all excited to release the video lookbook early next week, so please keep an eye out.

I first met Flynn back in 1999 when I shot his former group L.A. Symphony for EvilMonito.com. He put on a great show back then and he kills it on a whole different level now with Pigeon John in RootBeer. It’s great to finally get to work with Flynn… expect more projects to come from TST and RootBeer in the future.

We recently received a few copies of the new Mosley Tribes. Patrick (OliverPeoples/MosleyTribes) did another amazing job creating a full magazine look book, full with spreads, editorial pieces, product information and reviews. This is now our 8th issue and season gets better and better. It’s always impressive to see the whole production come together. It may seem impossible to do, but Patrick really does art direct every portion of the mag. Everything from product shots, down to the design hints on each page. Great work!
We are now seeing larger brands like Chanel creating their own magazines in lieu of print magazines folding. Mosley Tribes can always say they were ahead of the pack.
