Magic is quickly approaching and the season rush is beginning to slow down a bit. We’ve been a little busy here at the studio, so a time to sit and chill is always a treat. Patrick (OliverPeoples/MosleyTribes) rolled through this morning to grab some breakfast on his way into the office.
It’s always great to see Patrick. He is one of the few people I can have a conversation with and not talk about work.

Having a cafe downstairs was definitely a selling point, when I chose to move the studio to Spring St. It really sets the vibe for the neighborhood. Great people and great food.

What better way to start the day?
We have finally completed our retouching project for Oliver Peoples. I really love the feeling of completing a job and handing over a disk.
As you know, The Social Trust website is coming soon. I know it’s been a while since you have seen our site, but I can tell you that it will be well worth the wait. We’ve gone through a few changes and we are excited to share the new developments of our agency. Among these changes or additions is the Photo Illustration portfolio.
Photo Illustration is not necessarily fusing the two mediums (although, we will be experimenting with the technique), but rather narrative images that are geared more towards advertising.
Here are a few examples.

*classic pin-up
Please excuse the crudity of the type… these were experimental mock-ups.

*mock ad for an auto sound system company.

*depression

*eternal youth
It was these experimental shots that led to an extensive portfolio that will be presented on the new site.
Stay tuned.
Speaking of women’s brands. The Ten’s line presented by The Hundreds have been doing great things with their brand lately.
